Zen Marine Charter offers private, captained yacht experiences for guests visiting Destin, 30A, Miramar Beach, Sandestin, Crab Island, and the surrounding Emerald Coast. Whether you are planning a family day on the water, a private celebration, a sunset cruise, or a full-day charter, Lovin' Life gives your group a refined way to experience Northwest Florida's clear emerald water, white-sand coastline, and unhurried coastal pace.
Every charter includes a professional captain and steward, comfortable indoor and outdoor space, and room for up to twelve guests. Half-day, full-day, and sunset experiences are available depending on your schedule, your group size, and the route you want.
The coastline runs long here. Where you begin shapes what you see.

The Coastline We Cruise
Zen Marine Charter serves guests throughout Destin, 30A, and Florida's Emerald Coast. Use the guide below to find the charter location closest to where you are staying.
Crab Island is the shallow sandbar just inside Destin Pass, where the water turns pale and warm and stays waist deep for hours. It is the most requested destination on this coast and the most social.
A private charter changes the day entirely. Your group has its own deck, its own shade, its own space to swim from, and a crew handling the anchoring and the logistics while you stay in the water as long as you like.

Miramar Beach is the most convenient starting point for most guests. Baytowne Marina sits within Sandestin, minutes from the resorts, rentals, and beachfront homes along Scenic Gulf Drive, which means short travel time in the morning and an easy return in the afternoon.
From here the Gulf, Crab Island, and the 30A coastline all sit within comfortable reach.

For guests staying inside Sandestin, the walk to the slip is short enough that the charter feels like part of the resort rather than an excursion. Baytowne Marina is right there.
Morning departures are simple. Evening returns put you back near the Village with the light still going.

Thirty miles of coast road, a string of towns, coastal dune lakes, and dune lines that stay low and white the whole way. From Dune Allen Beach through Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton Beach, WaterColor, Seaside, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Inlet Beach, a private yacht charter lets you see the same shoreline from the water.
The perspective is different out there. Rooflines soften. The green deepens. The crowds stay behind you on the sand.

Santa Rosa Beach sits at the center of 30A, which makes it one of the easiest areas to plan a charter from. Guests here are close to the marina and close to everything east of it.
A relaxed cruise, a milestone, or a full day at anchor all work from this end of the coast.

Seaside guests tend to be looking for something that feels considered rather than packaged. Pastel cottages, white picket fences, a town built to be walked.
A private charter fits that instinct. Half a day on the water, a captain shaping the route around the wind and the light, and the same easy return to a town made for evenings.

Rosemary Beach carries a quieter, more European feel than much of the coast. Dark brick streets, deep porches, courtyards set back from the road.
A yacht charter suits that register. Lovin' Life offers space to spread out, a crew handling the details, and a full day that never asks anything of you.

WaterColor sits between the Gulf and Western Lake, one of the coastal dune lakes that give this stretch of Florida its particular character. Guests here are already oriented toward the water.
A private charter extends that outward. Half-day, full-day, or sunset, depending on how much of the coast you want to see.

Grayton is the oldest town on this coast and the least polished, in the way people who love it prefer. Sand roads, low cottages, a state park at the end of the street.
A yacht charter here is less about occasion and more about a good long day. Scenic cruising, swimming, and no particular schedule.

Alys Beach is white from end to end. Bermuda-inspired walls, courtyard gardens, hard shade and bright stucco. Guests staying here notice design.
Lovin' Life holds its own in that company. A 57' Prestige 550 Flybridge with an open flybridge, an air-conditioned salon, and an aft deck that opens straight to the Gulf.

Inlet Beach anchors the eastern end of 30A, near Lake Powell and the county line. It is the far side of the corridor, which makes an early departure worth planning.
Guests here often choose full-day charters. More time on the water justifies the drive west, and the route back along the coast is the best part of the afternoon.

Dune Allen sits at the western edge of 30A, the quietest end of a quiet road. Oyster Lake, low dunes, very little traffic.
It is also the closest 30A community to Baytowne Marina, which makes a half-day charter genuinely easy from here. Out in the morning, back with the afternoon still open.

Lovin' Life is a 57' Prestige 550 Flybridge, built for open water and long hours. The flybridge sits high above the waterline with shaded seating and an unbroken view of the coast. Below, an air-conditioned salon offers a quieter place to rest between swims. The aft deck opens directly to the water. Two staterooms and two heads are available throughout the charter.
The vessel accommodates up to twelve guests. Small enough to feel private. Large enough that no one has to share a seat.
Every charter is fully captained and crewed. Your captain reads the wind, the tide, and the light, then shapes the route around them. Your steward handles everything else. Towels ready. Cabin cool. Music at whatever volume the moment calls for.
Nothing is rushed. Swim when you want to swim. Come back aboard when you are ready.

Time on the water without giving up the rest of the day. A strong fit for families, couples, and smaller groups, and the most practical option for guests staying closer to the marina in Miramar Beach, Sandestin, and the western end of 30A.

The most complete version of the experience. More time to cruise, more time at anchor, more coastline. Best suited to larger groups, milestone celebrations, and guests traveling from the eastern side of 30A who want the day to be worth the drive.

Shorter and entirely about the light. Departures are timed to reach open water for the last of it, when the sun drops low over the Gulf and the water turns amber and the coastline softens into silhouette. It is the hour most guests remember.
Most charters begin heading west toward Crab Island, where the water goes pale and shallow and the day slows down to swimming.
Turn east instead and the coast opens up. Miramar Beach and Sandestin give way to the 30A corridor, where Dune Allen Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton Beach, WaterColor, Seaside, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Inlet Beach pass one after another in white dune lines and low rooftops.
Offshore, the Gulf deepens into the green that gave this coast its name. Dolphins move through these waters. Some afternoons they surface alongside the hull. Some afternoons they do not.

Charters depart from Baytowne Marina at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach, minutes from Destin and a short drive from the 30A corridor. Parking, easy access, and a short walk to the slip.
Departure timing, routing, and plans for the day are confirmed with you ahead of the charter, shaped around weather, tide, and what your group wants out of it.
For guests staying in Destin, 30A, Miramar Beach, Sandestin, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Alys Beach, WaterColor, Grayton Beach, Inlet Beach, or Dune Allen Beach, we recommend reaching out early. Preferred dates fill first in season.
