Accessibility Statement
What we are working toward, and how to get help.
Zen Marine Charter wants everyone to be able to learn about and book a charter with us, including people who use assistive technology. This statement explains what we are working toward and how to reach us if something on zenmarinecharter.com does not work for you.
Our Goal
We aim for the Site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have mobility, speech or cognitive disabilities.
What We Do
- Describe meaningful images with text alternatives.
- Label form fields and buttons so they can be used with a keyboard and a screen reader.
- Offer a light and a dark theme, and aim for readable colour contrast in both.
- Keep the booking steps usable on phones, tablets and computers.
Known Limitations
Some parts of the Site come from other companies and are outside our direct control, including payment pages provided by Stripe, embedded Instagram posts and maps. We choose providers that work on accessibility themselves, but we cannot guarantee every part of their content.
The Site is still being improved, and some pages may not yet fully meet our goal.
