Seaside is the community most people picture when they picture 30A. Pastel cottages, a walkable town center, white picket fences, and a rhythm built entirely around not driving anywhere.

Most guests park the car on arrival and barely touch it again.

A yacht charter is the one day worth getting back in it.

Zen Marine Charter serves Seaside guests aboard Lovin' Life, a 57' Prestige 550 Flybridge with room for up to twelve guests. A professional captain and steward are aboard for the duration. The vessel is private to your group.

Nobody in your party runs the yacht. The day is simply handed to you.

Charters depart from Baytowne Marina in Miramar Beach, a straightforward drive west along 98.

From the water, the corridor you have been walking all week reads differently. Seaside sits low behind its dune line, and the towns on either side, WaterColor and Grayton Beach to the west, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach to the east, pass one after another in white rooftops and sea oats. From land they blur together. From offshore the differences are obvious.

Turn west instead and the day goes toward Crab Island, where the water goes pale and shallow and the afternoon slows down to swimming.

Offshore, the Gulf deepens into the green the coast is named for.

Dolphins move through these waters. Some afternoons they surface alongside the hull. Some afternoons they do not.

Seaside guests book more sunset charters than most.

The town has its own evening ritual, and this is the version of it that happens on open water. The light drops, the coast goes gold, the wind falls off, and the Gulf flattens out. Then it goes quiet.

It is a short experience and an unhurried one. Well suited to couples, anniversaries, and groups who have already had their beach day and want something different for the evening.

Half-day and full-day charters are available as well. The full day is the one for groups who want to actually cover the coast.

Seaside charters suit families, vacation groups, couples, anniversaries, and milestone trips.

They also fit guests who have done Seaside before. Once you have walked the town, eaten your way through the Airstreams, and had your week on the sand, the water is what is left to see.

Charters depart from Baytowne Marina at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach, west of Seaside along 98.

Parking is easy and the walk to the slip is short.

Departure time, routing, and the shape of the day are confirmed with you before the charter, built around weather, tide, and what your group wants out of it.

We recommend reaching out early. Preferred dates fill first in season, and sunset charters go quickly in the high months.
