A Dune Allen Beach Yacht Charter

Dune Allen sits at the western edge of 30A, where the corridor begins and the crowds have not started yet.

There is no town center here. No shops to walk to. Just houses set back from the road, the dune lakes, Topsail Hill Preserve, and a stretch of beach that stays uncrowded even in the middle of July.

Guests who book Dune Allen are usually after exactly that.

Zen Marine Charter serves them aboard Lovin' Life, a 57' Prestige 550 Flybridge with room for up to twelve guests. A professional captain and steward are aboard for the duration. The vessel is private to your group.

Closest to the Water

Dune Allen is the nearest 30A community to our departure marina.

The drive is short enough that a charter does not have to reorganize the day around it. You can be on the water in the morning and back in time for an afternoon on the beach, or out for the evening without the whole day committing to it.

That proximity is the reason a half-day charter works so well from here.

Why the Half Day Fits

Four hours on the water is enough for a real day and short enough to stay easy.

Time to run the coast, anchor somewhere quiet, swim, eat, sit still. No long stretch of transit on either end because there is none to make up. For families with younger children, or for anyone who would rather not spend eight hours committed to anything, it is often the better call.

Full-day and sunset charters are available as well. The full day suits groups who want to cover more coast. The sunset charter suits couples and smaller parties.

What the Day Looks Like

Charters depart from Baytowne Marina in Miramar Beach, a short drive west.

From there the coast opens east. Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton Beach, WaterColor, Seaside, and the eastern communities pass one after another behind their dune lines. From the water the corridor separates into distinct places in a way it never does from the road.

Turn west instead and the day goes toward Crab Island, where the water goes pale and shallow and the afternoon slows to swimming.

Offshore, the Gulf deepens into the green the coast is named for.

Dolphins move through these waters. Some afternoons they surface alongside the hull. Some afternoons they do not.

Late in the day the light drops and the water flattens out.

Best For

Dune Allen charters suit families, couples, small celebrations, and quiet vacation groups.

They also fit guests staying in private homes along the western end who want one elevated day without changing the pace of the week.

Twelve guests is the maximum aboard Lovin' Life, and smaller parties are common from this area.
