Information You Provide

• Booking & account information — your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your charter (date, time, party size, charter type, special requests).
• Payment information — when you pay a deposit or balance, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our systems; we receive limited details such as a confirmation and the last four digits.
• Communications — messages you send us by email, phone, SMS, contact forms, or chat, and your marketing preferences.
• Careers — if you apply for a role, the information in your application.

Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring/exit pages, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Cookies & analytics — see Section 5.

• Process, confirm, and manage your bookings, deposits, and balance payments.
• Communicate with you about your charter (confirmations, pre-trip details, changes, and follow-ups).
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
• Send marketing and promotional messages where permitted, from which you can opt out at any time.
• Request reviews after your charter.
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and Services.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

• Service providers who help us operate the Services, under contract and only for the purpose of providing services to us. These include our payment processor (Stripe), our website hosting provider (Vercel), and our website analytics provider (Google Analytics). We also rely on other trusted providers for supporting functions such as data storage, email and SMS communications, and booking and customer management; these providers may access your information only as needed to perform services on our behalf.
• Legal & safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zen Marine Charter, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your payment is also subject to Stripe's privacy policy and terms. We receive transaction confirmations and limited information necessary to manage your booking, but we do not store complete payment card details.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand usage, and (where applicable) support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works.

The Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Marketing opt-out — you can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any message, reply STOP to marketing SMS, or contact us.
• Access, correction, deletion — you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us at info@zenmarinecharter.com.
• California residents (CCPA/CPRA) — if applicable, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale"/"sharing" of personal information; we do not sell your information.
• We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Effective date." Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
